Day 1

  • 09.00am pick up from Surabaya/Malang area & ETD to Madakaripura waterfall
  • 12.00nn ETA Madakaripura waterfall & sightseeing accompanied by a local guide (recommended wearing short pants, a t-shirt, & slippers)
  • 02.00am Lunch
  • 02.30pm ETD to hotel in Cemoro Lawang Bromo
  • 03.30pm ETA hotel, check-in, and visit sunset at Seruni view point
  • 07.00pm Diner and Free Program



Day 2

  • 03.00am Bromo Sunrise Tour: Drive by 4WD to visit the destinations mentioned below.
  • 04.00am ETA Penanjakan/Kingkong Hill view point, enjoy the sunrise and Bromo view from above 2,700m; continue to visit Love Hill Bromo
  • 06.00am ETD to Bromo desert
  • 06.30am ETA: Bromo Desert & sightseeing
  • 07.00am Trekking to Bromo crater (approximately 2 km), sightseeing, and visiting Pura Luhur Poten temple
  • 09.00am back to the hotel for breakfast and coffee in the morning.
  • 11.30am Check out from the hotel and ETD Surabaya/Malang area
  • 02.30pm ETA Surabaya/Malang area & tour finish!

Madakaripura waterfall

Madakaripura Waterfall is a waterfall in East Java’s Probolinggo District. This 200-meter-tall waterfall is Java’s tallest and Indonesia’s second-tallest. This waterfall is located in Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park, specifically on the slopes of Mount Bromo. Madakaripura Waterfall is located at the end of a narrow valley and is shaped like a niche surrounded by steep cliffs that drip water as if it were raining; three of these cliffs even poured water down to form another waterfall.

Mount Bromo

Bromo is an active volcano in East Java, Indonesia, located in the Tengger Mountains. It is not the highest summit in the massif, standing at 2,329 meters (7,641 feet), but it is the most well-known. The area is one of East Java’s most famous tourist sites, and the volcano is part of the Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park. Bromo is a Javanese pronunciation of Brahma, the Hindu god of creation. Mount Bromo is located in the “Sea of Sand” environmental reserve, Mount Bromo has erupted several times, the most recent in 2010.
