Mount Bromo
Bromo is an active volcano in East Java, Indonesia, located in the Tengger Mountains. It is not the highest summit in the massif, standing at 2,329 meters (7,641 feet), but it is the most well-known. The area is one of East Java’s most famous tourist sites, and the volcano is part of the Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park. Bromo is a Javanese pronunciation of Brahma, the Hindu god of creation. Mount Bromo is located in the “Sea of Sand” environmental reserve, Mount Bromo has erupted several times, the most recent in 2010.
Ijen crater
The Ijen volcano complex is a group of composite volcanoes in East Java, Indonesia, near the Banyuwangi and Bondowoso regencies. It is notable for its blue fire, acidic crater lake, and laborious sulfur mining. The Ijen volcano, located west of Gunung Merapi, has a turquoise-colored acidic crater lake one kilometer (0.62 miles) wide. The lake is the site of a labor-intensive sulfur mining operation, in which sulfur-laden baskets are carried from the crater floor by hand. The work is well compensated in comparison to the cost of living in the area, but it is physically demanding. Workers earn about US$13 per day and must transport sulfur chunks three kilometers to the nearby Paluding Valley to be compensated.
Kalibaru
Kalibaru is a city located southwest of Banyuwangi. It is a heaven for agricultural tourism fans because it has fertile soil and cool air, a big number of plantations that produce coffee, rubber, and cocoa, and the locals continue to preserve local culture, which attracts travelers to this location. It is the center of the chocolate plantation, with an old industry operating within it. They produce original processing of coffee bean, palm sugar, and chocolate using an old Dutch machine. In addition, they will demonstrate tourists how to prepare coffee beans, palm sugar, and chocolate and allow them to taste it
